About Me
I am a conceptual artist who works between Sweden and Italy.
I use recycled and reclaimed materials – including paper, shoreline finds and other collected fragments – to create paintings, reliefs and statues. My materials are gathered from environments such as shorelines, forests and urban spaces, and later reintroduced into my artistic practice.
The found objects may include plastic, rusted metal fragments, wood and layered paper, bearing traces of time, erosion and human presence. By collecting, transforming and re-contextualizing these materials, my practice explores the intersection between nature, culture and consumption.
As a conceptual artist, each work is preceded by an idea-driven phase in which thought, expression and intention are formulated. This preparatory part of the process takes time and is essential for the work to carry the meaning I aim for. Once the intention is in place, the making becomes a natural extension of the idea.
